"ID" started DJ'ing back in the early 1970's as the disco era started kicking off.
During that time, he worked in various pubs/clubs and several big night clubs in various countries around the world
Some of the clubs included "Dial Nine", "Tramp", "Raegine", "Le Kilt", "007 club" and "Baileys" (Watford) in the UK, "Stardust" and "Much More" in Athens, "Maniac" in Brussles, "GO" in Miami and "Studio 29" in Bombay (now Mumbai) to name but a few. "Studio 29" is where he taught Dave Pearse (Kiss FM & BBC Radio 1) how to mix (he still denies it to this day) along with a few others.
ID was also fundemental in teaching One Jo Azaredo (Now Grandmaster Jo), how to mix tunes together. Jo now runs his own dj training school and teaches old school style mixing to DJ's all over the world.
As for radio, ID has done a few station along the way including Capital, Kiss, BRMB & Talk Radio in the UK, All India Radio (Mumbai) with an average listening audiance of 6 to 7 million listeners per show.
He gave up professional dj'ing back in mid 1985, but still enjoys it and does a bit of recreational mixing for his daughter and other friends.
In 2009 ID got together with Reb-ska and Johno, who twisted his arm to get involved with EN5 Radio.
Thats about it really, except to say I normally play-mix many of the top 70's - 80's 12" dance tracks, with a few 90's and up to date tracks thrown in.
ID would like to thank Canadian DJ Graham Canter, who taught him how to mix all those years ago in a little known club around the back of Mayfair.
