REB-SKA
Rebs has been heavily influenced musically by his Dad Ray, as he awoke every Sunday in his Dollis Valley home to the sounds of Ska, Motown, The Platters, & Buddy Holly to name but a few. A few years later, his big sister Alison introduced him to the sounds of the 70's. He became a DJ at the age of 18, specialising mainly in playing 2-Tone , Ska, Reggae and 80's soul grooves, only to give it all up for his passion for football.
10 years later Rebs was asked to do a 2 Tone Ska night at a local venue which turned out to be a raging success........
and he was bitten by the musical bug once again.
Rebs was asked along with Johno to play on Barnet radio but unfortunately things didn’t work out and they both decided to start our own station.
EN5 Radio was born!
His long time friend and ex Kiss and top club Dj, Inspired Dead was also asked to come on board which he gladly accepted.
Rebs is a Bricklayer by trade, but music is a real never ending passion. Rebs says "To Play my music to people on a radio station, in pubs and in halls gives me an incredible buzz".
Rebs still has one dream which is to DJ at a live open air event................fingers crossed.
